Supreme Court Conservatives Boldly Promote Corporate Feudalism

Anyone who believes that the right wing majority in the US Supreme Court is anything more than pro corporate “hacks in black” is just not paying attention. They are completely unaccountable to the public, judicial tradition, the truth and the constitution. Overturning the Montana Supreme Courts well thought out and documented ruling prohibiting corporations from buying elections makes the majority’s priorities breathtakingly clear.  They have become the judicial wing of Corporate Feudalism. “States Rights” are important unless a state is trying to count all the votes in a presidential election, trying to stop Corporate Feudalists from buying politicians and elections, or trying to claim that corporations should be held accountable for their actions.  They are right wing politicians with robes. They are not “Supreme."

I agree with the points made in all of your posts. The situation is exactly what I’ve observed over the years. I don’t know if it’s a conspiracy of men or of events, but things are heading towards critical juncture. Question: What do we effectively DO about it besides fuming among ourselves. The “Occupy” movement was a great attention-getter but was essentially a headless horseman. The American people have been dumbed down and placated with toys to the extent that they are politically numb.

Health and wellness are an inivddiuals responsibility. Why should we put our health in the hands of money hungry big business.A system that rewards individual health choice, based on standards and measures setup around a health and wellness model. You live well, you’re rewarded with cheaper health care premiums. You live bad, you’re rewarded with higher health care premiums. This method will make inivddiuals seek health and wellness and personal responsibility first, and still provide critical care functions when needed, but at a more feasible rate.We need more education on health and wellness issues to become more available (like the billions spent on advertising prescriptions drugs) and those with the right message to be recognized both with accredidation and financial rewards. Therefore a different driver needs to steer the ship.
